2. ABOUT MAKE WITH
Make With is a nonprofit organization that funds creative projects led by artists and makers to strengthen communities. Our website provides information about our mission, projects, and application process.
3. USE OF OUR SITE
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or interfere with its operation.
4. APPLICATIONS & SUBMISSIONS
Only individuals age 18+ may apply for Make With grants. A funded project may be completed individually, collaboratively, or in partnership with a nonprofit or community organization, but the individual applicant remains responsible for completion. Information submitted through our application forms must be accurate and complete. You retain ownership of your submitted content, but you grant Make With a nonprofit, royalty-free license to use, share, and publish it for purposes related to our mission, including programming, promotion, reporting, and fundraising.
5. GRANT TERMS
All grants are currently $1,000. Recipients receive $500 at the start of the approved project and $500 after completion. If the project is not completed, the initial $500 must be returned. Material project changes require approval from the Make With project manager. Recipients are expected to provide project documentation and participate in a post-project interview. Additional grant-specific terms may be included in a separate grant agreement.
6. TAXES
Grant funds may be considered taxable income. Recipients are responsible for determining and meeting any applicable federal, state, or local tax obligations. Make With cannot provide individual tax advice.
7. DONATIONS
Donations made through our Site are final and non-refundable unless required by law. Make With is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are used to support our mission.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos, is the property of Make With or our content partners and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.
